Parattu Raveendran Sreejesh

Sreejesh was born 8 May 1988, in Kerala. He completed his graduation from Sree Narayana College, Kerala. He was selected for playing professional hockey by hockey coach Jayakumar after seeing his performance at his school hockey game. He went on to play many more hockey matches and also played for the Nehru Cup. Till date is he plays as Goalkeeper for hockey Team India.

Sreejesh has also played for India at the 2012 Olympic games in London; and then went on to play at the Hockey World Cup 2014. His shining moment was at the 2014 Asian Games in South Korea, when he saved two penalty strokes against Pakistan in the final to win Team India Gold.
At the 2014 Champions Trophy, he was adjudged "Goalkeeper of the Tournament” and he was nominated for the award of Best Male Goalkeeper. He was the captain of team India when they won Silver at the 2016 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy held at London.
