Wycliff Andrew Deacon was born in South Africa. He is a qualified Physiotherapist and Fitness Coach / Trainer. After qualifying he started his career training school Rugby teams in South Africa and later went on to train and treat cricket players for University state clubs in Johannesburg. Also working privately at sports clinics he became the lead medical physio for the Hockey and Rugby tournaments in Kings Edwards College and many other institutions.

As a member of the Physiotherapy department, Sports Medicine Association and Health Council of South Africa, he also went on to train with Mens and Womens cricket teams in the 2015 SriLanka tour and T20 world cup.
